For some people, Christmas is all about the present, Christmas trees, and decoration. This is a festive season its time get together and a delicious dinner and chocolates. We can be extremely busy the days before Christmas. Busy for a perfect gift, busy for attending Xmas shows at school, busy organizing family gatherings. Sometimes we need the team to slow down. To relax and understand the true message of Christmas.
This is the true message of Christmas...
When Jesus was crucified on the cross some 33 years after his birth, he would save humanity. This is how much God loved the world. He gave his Son, his one and only son and this is why no one needs to destroy. By believing him anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn’t go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world that he came to help to put the world right again.

It’s time to celebrate Christmas for what it really is:
Because Jesus is and did it for us is reason enough to celebrate his birth on Christmas day. This message of Christmas is also a chance for people to reflect and celebrate it with family and friends full of joy. Christmas day was certainly not a day when Jesus was born. The real date of his birthday is not known and has not been communicated by Luke in his gospel.
Let’s now turn Bible to the Nativity - The true message of Christmas...
The birth of Jesus:
In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman World. Everyone went to register his own town. So, Joseph also went up for the town of Galilee to Judea, Bethlehem the town of David, that is just because he belonged to the house and line of David. He went to come to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. While they were the time to come for the baby to be born and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger because there was no room for them and there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their folks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them and the glory of the Lord shone around them. Angel said that “do not be afraid” i bring you all people good news.
Today in the town of David a savior born to you, he is Christ the Lord. this will be a sign for you, you will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manager. Suddenly a company of the heavenly appeared with angels and saying that “Glory of God in the highest and on the earth peace to men on whom his favor rest.” when the angels had left them and go to heaven the shepherds told to one mother that let’s go to the Bethlehem and see that this thing happened that the Lord told about us.so they go to Mary and Joseph and told everything that what happened when Mary and Joseph see their child and they amazed about that. Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her hearts.
