There are many lightning shows, and many more events are organized in Washington D.C. from Christmas tree lighting ceremonies and eight-day celebration of Hanukkah to the annual “season’s greetings” party at the Botanic Gardens, you are sure to find something free to do that will get you in the holiday spirit this year.

So, people want to go to the holiday market and buy those things for their children, and family. At this time the holiday market is full of people. If you go this Christmas time in the market then you don’t have the space to go to buy something for your family so plan your Christmas shopping before the end of Christmas. 

Hanks to a rotating cast of crafters and vendors, hot coffee and sweets, and holiday performances. This magical marketplace is worth multiple trips. Located at 8th and F Streets NW.  In the Art Museum and National Portrait Gallery, the market holds down these areas in front of the Smithsonian.
